We are striving to improve the quality of our services so that you can use our babysitting service with peace of mind as your familiar childcare partner. Here are some examples of what we are doing.
At mormor, all sitters are screened and interviewed, and their IDs and credentials are checked before they are hired directly. We also conduct background checks to the best of our ability. In addition to qualifications and experience, we also focus on the applicant’s personality during the interview process. We hire staff who have the desire and ethics to work as babysitters, a sense of responsibility for the lives of precious children, and a desire to support families.
We strive to improve the skills of our sitters not only through training at the time of hiring, but also through regular in-house and external training after hiring.
Regular in-house training is provided on the following topics.
Sibling Sitting / What to do in this situation? Group Discussion / Communication with Parents / Pick-up and drop-off sitters / Toys made from everyday materials Minor Incident and accident prevention / Age-specific childcare and play / Infant practice etc…
※CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) practice is always given during every training session.
In addition, we subsidize the cost of attending training and acquiring qualifications, so that our sitters can continuously and enthusiastically deepen their learning.
We collect “Minor Incident Reports” on Minor Incident events that occur in childcare settings, and analyze and share the causes. In addition, by sharing “sitting reports” between the sitter and the headquarters, we are able to understand the individual characteristics of families and children, and work together to prevent accidents. In the event of an accident, we will compensate you with our liability insurance and accident insurance.

If you have any comments, requests, or problems, our headquarters is always ready to respond sincerely. You can contact us by e-mail, phone, or by using our anonymous suggestion box. We take the opinions we receive from our customers seriously and revise our service manuals and brush up our internal training programs. For individual cases, we conduct hearings with the sitters, individual interviews, and training to prevent recurrence.
The following preventive measures have been taken to prevent infectious diseases.
Take temperature on the day / wear a mask / wash hands / gargle / disinfect / use regular ventilation etc… When sitter walk outside with children, we try to avoid crowded indoor facilities and human contact as much as possible.
In the case that the sitter or a family member living with the sitter gets sick, infected, or in close contact with the infected person, a substitute sitter will visit. In addition, the sitter who prepares the milk (in charge of infants) has a monthly stool check.
We believe that it is important for caregivers to have a relaxed mind and body in order to face children with a smile every day. For this reason, we place great importance on communication with our sitters, and take into consideration their individual circumstances when coordinating the families they will be assigned to.
Our staff will continue to make every effort to provide a fulfilling experience for children and families, cherishing each encounter.
